Venue: Marina Square DBS ATM machine outside Kbox
Time: between 5-6pm
Characters: Me - thinking to myself(M), Female stranger (FS) and Male stranger (MS)

Scenario: I was queueing up to withdraw money from the ATM. It was a long queue, in a rather crowded area. A young couple joined in the queue behind me...

I was staring into space when suddenly, I heard a female voice behind me....

FS: 你知道什么country的名字start with 'K' 的吗？

M: Kenya..hmmm....Korea?

MS: 有这样的country meh?

FS: *giggle* 有！！你想想看啦。

M: c'mon...it's not that difficult...i've thought of 2!

After a silent period of about 10 seconds...
MS: 想不到啦。 是什么？

FS: *giggle giggle* 我知道有一个 - kua ate

MS: 什么国家来的?

M (trying very hard not to grin or laugh)： omg.....is she talking about KUWAIT?

FS: 不知道在哪里啦，最近有打战的。

M (starting to lose control and begins to grin to myself): ok...she is talking about Kuwait...

MS: 是哦？怎样spell？

FS: K-W-A-T-E.

M (good thing it was noisy enough to cover up my snickering): WTH!?!

MS: 哦.......你很厉害嘞！

FS: *giggling*

M (shaking head to self): 这样叫厉害？Kuwait 念错了，连 spelling 都错了！！*faint*
